Psalm 119:89-96 Part 3

                    LAMEDH 

Your eternal word, O LORD,

    stands firm in heaven.

Your faithfulness extends to every generation,

    as enduring as the earth you created. 

Your regulations remain true to this day,

    for everything serves your plans.

If your instructions hadn't sustained me with joy,

    I would have died in misery.

I will never forget your commandments,

    for by them you give me life.

I am yours, rescue me!

    For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments.

Though the wicked hide along the way to kill me,

    I will quietly keep my mind on your laws.

Even perfection has its limits,

    but your commands have no limit. 

 

Your regulations remain true to this day, for everything serves your plans.

Psalm 119:43  

Do not snatch your word of truth from me,

I tremble in fear of you;

    I stand in awe of your regulations.  (see Psalm 119:113-120)

I will praise you seven times a day

    because all your regulations are just.  (see Psalm 119:161-168)

Jeremiah 29:11  

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Romans 16:25-26  

    Now all glory to God, who is able to make you strong, just as my Good News says. This message about Jesus Christ has revealed his plan for you Gentiles, a plan kept secret from the beginning of time. 2 Timothy 1:9
