Sing For Joy Part 1 of 2

1 Chronicles 16:31-33  Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Tell all the nations, "The LORD reigns!" Let the sea and everything in it shout his praise! Let the fields and their crops burst out with joy! Let the trees of the forest rustle with praise, for the LORD is coming to judge the earth.

Job 29:13  "I (Job) helped those without hope, and they blessed me. And I caused the widows' hearts to sing for you."

Ezra 3:11-13  With praise and thanks, they sang this song to the LORD: "He is good! His faithful love for Israel endures forever!" Then all the people gave a great shout, praising the LORD because the foundation of the LORD's Temple had been laid. But many of the older priests, Levites, and other leaders who had seen the first Temple wept aloud when they saw the new Temple's foundation. The others, however, were shouting for joy. The joyful shouting and weeping mingled together in a loud noise that could be heard far in the distance.

Psalm 5:11-12  But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love your name may be filled with joy. For you bless the godly, LORD; you surround them with your shield of love.

Psalm 32:10-11  Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD. So rejoice in the LORD and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!

Psalm 35:27  But give great joy to those who came to my defense. Let them continually say, "Great is the LORD, who delights in blessing his servant with peace!"

Psalm 63:5  You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy.

Psalm 65:13  The meadows are clothed with flocks of sheep and the valleys are carpeted with grain. They all shout and sing for joy!

Psalm 67:4  Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world.
