Luke 22:66-71 Part 2 of 2

At daybreak all the elders of the people assembled, including the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. Jesus was led before this high council, and they said, "Tell us, are you the Messiah?" But he replied, "If I tell you, you won't believe me. And if I ask you a question, you won't answer. But from now on the Son of Man will be seated in the place of power at God's right hand." They all shouted, "So, you are claiming to be the Son of God?" And he replied, "You say that I am."  "Why do we need other witnesses?" they said. "We ourselves heard him say it."
 
"But from now on the Son of Man will be seated in the place of power at God's right hand."
Psalm 110:1  The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet."
Mark 14:62  Jesus said, "I AM. And you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God's right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven." (see also Matthew 26:64)
 
They all shouted,"So, you are claiming to be the Son of God?" 
Matthew 3:17  And a voice from heaven said, "This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy." (see verses 13-17, also Mark 1:9-11)
Matthew 14:33  Then the disciples worshiped him. "You really are the Son of God!" they exclaimed. (see verses 22-34)
Matthew 16:16  Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." (see verses 13-20)
Luke 1:35  The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God." (see verses 26-38)
John 1:49  Then Nathanael exclaimed, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God--the King of Israel!" (see verses 45-50)
John 11:27  "Yes, Lord," she told him. "I have always believed you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who has come into the world from God." (see verses 1-44)
 
"Why do we need other witnesses?" they said. "We ourselves heard him say it." 
Matthew 26:65  Then the high priest tore his clothing to show his horror and said, "Blasphemy! Why do we need other witnesses? You have all heard his blasphemy." (see verses 57-66, also Mark 14:63)
