Luke 23:44-46

By this time it was about noon, and darkness fell across the whole land until three o'clock. The light from the sun was gone. And suddenly, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn down the middle. Then Jesus shouted, "Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!" And with those words he breathed his last.

Amos 8:9  "In that day," says the Sovereign LORD, "I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth while it is still day."

Matthew 27:45  At noon darkness fell across the whole land until three o'clock. (see also Mark 15:33)

And suddenly, the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn down the middle. 

Exodus 26:31  "For the inside of the Tabernacle, make a special curtain of finely woven linen. Decorate it with blue, purple, and scarlet thread and with skillfully embroidered cherubim." (see verses 30-33)

2 Chronicles 3:14  Across the entrance of the Most Holy Place he (Solomon) hung a curtain made of fine linen, decorated with blue, purple, and scarlet thread and embroidered with figures of cherubim.

Matthew 27:51  At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. (see also Mark 15:38)

Hebrews 9:8  By these regulations the Holy Spirit revealed that the entrance to the Most Holy Place was not freely open as long as the Tabernacle and the system it represented were still in use. (see verses 6-10)

Hebrews 10:19-20  And so, dear brothers and sisters, we can boldly enter heaven's Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. (see chapters 9-10)
