Acknowledge that the LORD is God!

    He made us, and we are his.

    We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

1 Kings 18:21  Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, "How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!"  But the people were completely silent.

1 Kings 18:39  And when all the people saw it, they fell face down on the ground and cried out, "The LORD--he is God! Yes, the LORD is God!"

Psalm 46:10  

"Be still and know that I am God!

    I will be honored by every nation.

He made us, and we are his. 

Genesis 2:7  Then the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man's nostrils, and the man became a living person.  (see all chapter 2)

Job 10:8-9  

" 'You formed me with your hands; you made me,

    yet now you completely destroy me.

Remember that you made me from dust--

We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 

Psalm 79:13  

Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture,

    will thank you forever and ever,

Isaiah 63:8  

He (the LORD) said, "They are my very own people.

    Surely they will not betray me again."

Isaiah 64:8-9  

And yet, O LORD, you are our Father.

    We are the clay, and you are the potter.

    We all are formed by your hand.

Don't be so angry with us, LORD.

    Please don't remember our sins forever.

Ezekiel 34:30-31  "In this way, they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them. And they will know that they, the people of Israel, are my people, says the Sovereign LORD. You are my flock, the sheep of my pasture. You are my people, and I am your God. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!"
