Psalm 101:6-8 Part 1 of 2

I will search for faithful people

    to be my companions.

Only those who are above reproach

    will be allowed to serve me.

I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house,

    and liars will not stay in my presence.

My daily task will be to ferret out the wicked

    and free the city of the LORD from their grip.

 

I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.

Psalm 119:1 

Joyful are people of integrity,

    Who follow the instructions of the LORD.  (see verses 1-8)

Matthew 24:45  "A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them."  (see verses 42-51)

1 Corinthians 4:17  That's why I have sent Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord. He will remind you of how I follow Christ Jesus, just as I teach in all the churches wherever I go.  (see all chapter 4)

Philippians 2:17  But I will rejoice even if I lose my life, pouring it out like a liquid offering to God, just like your faithful service is an offering to God. And I want all of you to share that joy.  (see verses 12-18)

Colossians 4:7  Tychicus will give you a full report about how I am getting along. He is a beloved brother and faithful helper who serves with me in the Lord's work.

Revelation 2:10  "Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life."  (see verses 8-11)

Revelation 17:14  "Together they (the scarlet beast and the 10 kings) will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him."  (see all chapter 17)

I will not allow deceivers to serve in my house. 

Isaiah 59:13  

We know we have rebelled and have denied the LORD.

    We have turned our backs on our God.

We know how unfair and oppressive we have been,

    carefully planning our deceitful lies.  (see all chapter 59)

Acts 13:10  Then he (Paul) said, "You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord?"  (see verses 4-12)

2 Corinthians 11:13  These people are false apostles. They are deceitful workers who disguise themselves as apostles of Christ.  (see verses 1-15)

1 Peter 2:1  So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and unkind speech.  (see all chapter 2)
