Psalm 126:1-3

When the LORD brought back his exiles to Jerusalem,

    it was like a dream!

We were filled with laughter,

    and we sang for joy.

And the other nations said,

    "What amazing things the LORD has done for them."

Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us!

    What joy!

Jeremiah 29:14 

"I will be found by you," says the LORD. "I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land."  (see all Jeremiah 29)

Ezra 1:3  

"Any of you who are his people may go to Jerusalem in Judea to rebuild this Temple of the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives in Jerusalem. And may your God be with you!"  (see all Ezra 1)

Jeremiah 30:18  

This is what the LORD says:

"When I bring captive Israel home again from captivity

    and restore their fortunes,

Jerusalem will be rebuilt on its ruins,

"He will once again fill your mouth with laughter

Deuteronomy 10:21

Those who live at the ends of the earth

    stand in awe of your wonders.

From where the sun rises to where it sets,

Your righteousness, O God, reaches to the highest heavens,

    You have done such wonderful things.

Yes, the LORD has done amazing things for us! What joy!  

Isaiah 25:9  

In that day the people will proclaim,

"This is our God!

    We trusted in him and he saved us!

This is the LORD, in whom we trusted.

    Let us rejoice in the salvation he brings!"  (see all Isaiah 25)

Joel 2:21  

    Don't be afraid, O land.

Be glad now and rejoice,

    for the LORD has done great things.  (see Joel 2:12-32)

Psalm 9:1-2  

I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart;

    I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.

I will be filled with joy because of you.
