Psalm 127:3-5

Children are a gift from the LORD;
they are a reward from him.
Children born to a young man
are like arrows in a warrior's hands.
How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them!
He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city
        gates.

Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him.
Genesis 1:28

Genesis 22:16-18
"This is what the LORD says: Because you (Abraham) have obeyed me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by my own name that I will surely bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies. And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed--all because you have obeyed me."
(see Genesis 22:1-19)
Genesis 24:60
They gave her (Rachel) this blessing as she parted:
    "Our sister, may you become
        the mother of many nations!
    May your descendants be strong
and conquer the cities of their enemies."

He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.
Genesis 23:10-12
Ephron was sitting there among the others, and he answered Abraham as the others listened, speaking publicly before all the Hittite elders of the town. "No, my lord," he said to Abraham, "please listen to me. I will give you the field and the cave. Here in the presence of my people, I give it to you. Go and bury your dead."
Abraham again bowed low before the citizens of the land, ...
