Psalm 138:4-6 Part 1 of 3

Every king in all the earth will thank you, LORD,

    for all of them will hear your words.

Yes, they will sing about the LORD's ways,

    for the glory of the LORD is very great.

Though the LORD is great, he cares for the humble,

    but he keeps his distance from the proud. 

     

Every king in all the earth will thank you, LORD, for all of them will hear your words.

Psalm 102:15

Then the nations will tremble before the LORD.

    The kings of the earth will tremble before his glory.  (see all Psalm 102)

Psalm 86:9  

All the nations you made

    will come and bow before you, Lord;

    they will praise your holy name.  (see all Psalm 86)

1 Kings 8:41-43  

    "In the future, foreigners who do not belong to your people Israel will hear of you. They will come from distant lands because of your name, for they will hear of your great name and your strong hand and your powerful arm. And they will pray toward this Temple, then hear from heaven where you live, and grant what they ask of you. In this way, all the people of the the earth will come to know and fear you, just as your own people Israel do. They, too, will know that this Temple I have built honors your name."

Yes, they will sing about the LORD's ways, for the glory of the LORD is very great.  

Exodus 16:10  

And as Aaron spoke to the whole community of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness. There they could see the awesome glory of the LORD in the cloud.  (see Exodus 16:1-16)

Psalm 19:1  

The heavens proclaim the glory of God.

    The skies display his craftsmanship.  (see all Psalm 19)

Psalm 108:5  

Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens.

    May your glory shine over all the earth.  (see all Psalm 108, also Psalm 57)

Psalm 145:10-13  

All of your works will thank you, LORD,

    and your faithful followers will praise you.

They will speak of the glory of your kingdom;

    they will give examples of your power.

They will tell about your mighty deeds

    and about the majesty and glory of your reign.

For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom.

    You rule throughout all generations.  (see all Psalm 145)
