Psalm 138:4-6 Part 2 of 3

Every king in all the earth will thank you, LORD,

    for all of them will hear your words.

Yes, they will sing about the LORD's ways,

    for the glory of the LORD is very great.

Though the LORD is great, he cares for the humble,

    but he keeps his distance from the proud.

Isaiah 6:1-3  

     It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple. Attending him were mighty seraphim, each having six wings. With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew. They were calling out to each other,

    "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of Heaven's Armies!

        The whole earth is filled with his glory!"  (see all Isaiah 6)

Isaiah 24:14-16  

But all who are left shout and sing for joy.

    Those in the west praise the LORD's majesty.

In eastern lands, give glory to the LORD.

    In the lands beyond the sea, praise the name of the LORD, the God of 

        Israel.

We hear songs of praise from the ends of the earth,

    songs that give glory to the Righteous One!  (see all Isaiah 24)

Romans 9:4  

They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God's adopted children. God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises.

Romans 9:23-24  

He does this to make the riches of his glory shine even brighter on those to whom he shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory. And we are among those whom he selected, both from the Jews and from the Gentiles.  (see all Romans 9)

Hebrews 1:3  

The Son radiates God's own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.  (see all Hebrews 1)

Jude 1:25  

All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time! Amen.  (see all Jude)

Revelation 21:23  

And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.  (see all Revelation 21)
