Psalm 138:7-8 Part 1 of 2

Though I am surrounded by troubles,

    you will protect me from the anger of my enemies.

You reach out your hand,

    and the power of your right hand saves me.

The LORD will work out the plans for my life--

    for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever.

    Don't abandon me, for you made me.

Exodus 15:12

Ezra 9:8-9  

    "But now we have been given a brief moment of grace, for the LORD our God has allowed a few of us to survive as a remnant. He has given us security in this holy place. Our God has brightened our eyes and granted us some relief from our slavery. For we were slaves, but in his unfailing love our God did not abandon us in our slavery. Psalm 23:4  

Even though I walk

    through the darkest valley,

The LORD protects them

    and keeps them alive.

Psalm 7:6  

Arise, O LORD, in anger!

    Stand up against the fury of my enemies!

Now I know that the LORD rescues his anointed king.

    He will answer him from his holy heaven

Now rescue your beloved people.

Psalm 17:7  

Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways.

    By your mighty power you rescue

    those who seek refuge from their enemies.  

Psalm 17:14  

By the power of your hand, O LORD,

    destroy those who look to this world for their reward.

But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones.

    May their children have plenty,
