Luke 1:67-68 Part 2 of 2

Then his father, Zechariah, was filled with the Holy Spirit and gave this prophecy: "Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and redeemed his people."

"Praise the Lord, the God of Israel,"
Ezra 7:27-28  Praise the LORD, the God of our ancestors, who made the king (Artaxerxes of Persia) want to beautify the Temple of the LORD in Jerusalem! And praise him for demonstrating such unfailing love to me by honoring me before the king, his council, and all his mighty nobles! I felt encouraged because the gracious hand of the LORD my God was on me. And I gathered some of the leaders of Israel to return with me to Jerusalem.
Psalm 41:13  Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and amen!
Psalm 72:18  Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things.
Psalm 106:48  Praise the LORD, the God of Israel, who lives from everlasting to everlasting! Let all the people say, "Amen!" Praise the LORD!
Matthew 15:31  The crowd was amazed! Those who hadn't been able to speak were talking, the crippled were made well, the lame were walking, and the blind could see again! And they praised the God of Israel.

"because he has visited and redeemed his people."
Psalm 111:9  He has paid a full ransom for his people. He has guaranteed his covenant with them forever. What a holy, awe-inspiring name he has!
Psalm 130:7-8  O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows. He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
Isaiah 43:1  But now, O Jacob, listen to the LORD who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, "Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine."
Isaiah 59:20  "The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins," says the LORD.
Acts 15:14-15  "Peter told you about the time God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people for himself. And this conversion of Gentiles is exactly what the prophets predicted."
