Luke 1:69-71 Part 2 of 2

"He has sent us a mighty Savior from the royal line of his servant David, just as he promised through his holy prophets long ago. Now we will be saved from our enemies and from all who hate us."

"just as he promised through his holy prophets long ago."
Jeremiah 23:5-6  "For the time is coming," says the LORD, "when I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David's line. He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right throughout the land. And this will be his name: 'The LORD Is Our Righteousness.' In that day Judah will be saved, and Israel will live in safety."
Acts 3:17-22  "Friends, I realize that what you and our leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance. But God was fulfilling what all the prophets had foretold about the Messiah--that he must suffer these things. Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord, and he will again send you Jesus, your appointed Messiah. For he must remain in heaven until the time for the final restoration of all things, as God promised long ago through his holy prophets. Moses said, 'The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from  your own people. Listen to everything he tells you.' " (Deuteronomy 18:15)
Romans 1:2  God promised this Good News long ago through his prophets in the holy Scriptures.

"Now we will be saved from our enemies and from all who hate us."
Psalm 106:9-11  He commanded the Red Sea to dry up. He led Israel across the sea as if it were a desert. So he rescued them from their enemies and redeemed them from their foes. Then the water returned and covered their enemies; not one of them survived.
