Luke 10:16-20 Part 1 of 4

Then he said to the disciples, " Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me. And anyone who rejects you is rejecting me. And anyone who rejects me is rejecting God who sent me." When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, "Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!"  "Yes," he told them, "I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning! Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. But don't rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven."

Then he said to the disciples, "Anyone who accepts your message is also accepting me."

Matthew 10:40  "Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me."

Matthew 18:5  "And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me."

Luke 9:48  Then he said to them, "Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest."

John 12:44  Jesus shouted to the crowds, "If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me."

John 13:20  "I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me."

John 12:48  "But all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken."

Matthew 10:32-33  "Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven."

Matthew 21:42  Then Jesus asked them, "Didn't you ever read this in the Scriptures? 'The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. This is the LORD's doing, and it is wonderful to see.' "
