Jude 1:12-13

When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord's love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you. They are like shameless shepherds who care only for themselves. They are like clouds blowing over the land without giving any rain. They are like trees in autumn that are doubly dead, for they bear no fruit and have been pulled up by the roots. They are like wild waves of the sea, churning up the foam of their shameful deeds. They are like wandering stars, doomed forever to blackest darkness.

When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord's love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you.
1 Corinthians 11:20-22  When you meet together, you are not really interested in the Lord's Supper. For some of you hurry to eat your own meal without sharing with others. As a result, some go hungry while others get drunk. What? Don't you have your own homes for eating and drinking? Or do you really want to disgrace God's church and shame the poor? What am I supposed to say? Do you want me to praise you? Well, I certainly will not praise you for this! (see verses 17-34)
2 Peter 2:13  Their destruction is their reward for the harm they have done. They love to indulge in evil pleasures in broad daylight. They are a disgrace and a stain among you. They delight in deception even as they eat with you in your fellowship meals.

They are like shameless shepherds who care only for themselves.
Ezekiel 34:8  "As surely as I live, says the Sovereign LORD, you abandoned my flock and left them to be attacked by every wild animal. And though you were my shepherds, you didn't search for my sheep when they were lost. You took care of yourselves and left the sheep to starve. (see verses 1-10)
Acts 20:29-30  I know that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will come in among you after I leave, not sparing the flock. Even some men from your own group will rise up and distort the truth in order to draw a following. (see verses 28-31)

They are like clouds blowing over the land without giving any rain
2 Peter 2:17  These people are as useless as dried up springs or as mist blown away by the wind. They are doomed to blackest darkness.

They are like trees in autumn that are doubly dead, for they bear no fruit and have been pulled up by the roots.
Matthew 3:10  "Even now the ax of God's judgment is poised, ready to sever the roots of the trees. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire." (see verses 7-10)
Matthew 12:33  "A tree is identified by its fruit. If a tree is good, its fruit will be good. If a tree is bad, its fruit will be bad." (see verses 33-37)

They are like wild waves of the sea, churning up the foam of their shameful deeds.
Isaiah 57:20  "But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt." (see verses 14-21)
Philippians 3:19  They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. (see verses 17-21)
Ephesians 4:18  Their minds are full of darkness; they wander far from the life God gives because they have closed their minds and hardened their hearts against him. (see verses 17-32)
