Jude 1:14-16 Part 1 of 2

Enoch, who lived in the seventh generation after Adam, prophesied about these people. He said, "Listen! The LORD is coming with countless thousands of his holy ones to execute judgment on the people of the world. He will convict every person of all the ungodly things they have done and for all the insults that ungodly sinners have spoken against him." (1 Enoch 1:9) These people are grumblers and complainers, living only to satisfy their desires. They brag loudly about themselves, and they flatter others to get what they want.

Enoch, who lived in the seventh generation after Adam, prophesied about these people.
Genesis 5:21-24  When Enoch was 65 years old, he became the father of Methuselah. After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch lived in close fellowship with God for another 300 years, and he had other sons and daughters. Enoch lived 365 years, walking in close fellowship with God. Then one day he disappeared because God took him. (see verses 18-24)
Hebrews 11:5  It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying--"he disappeared, because God took him." For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God.

He said, "Listen! The LORD is coming with countless thousands of his holy ones to execute judgment on the people of the world."
Jeremiah 25:31  " 'His cry of judgment will reach the ends of the earth, for the LORD will bring his case against all the nations. He will judge all the people of the earth, slaughtering the wicked with the sword. I, the LORD, have spoken.' " (see verses 15-38)
Psalm 37:12-13  The wicked plot against the godly; they snarl at them in defiance. But the LORD just laughs, for he sees their day of judgment coming. (see all Psalm 37)
Psalm 1:4-5  But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind. They will be condemned at the time of judgment. Sinners will have no place among the godly. (see all Psalm 1)
Joel 3:12-13  "Let the nations be called to arms. Let them march to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I, the LORD, will sit to pronounce judgment on them all. Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread the grapes, for the winepress is full. The storage vats are overflowing with the wickedness of these people." (see all chapter 3)
