"After
this period of sixty-two sets of seven, the anointed one will be
killed, appearing to have accomplished nothing, and a ruler will arise
whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. The end will come
with a flood, and war and its miseries are decreed from that time to the
very end. The ruler will make a treaty with the people for a period of
one seven, but after half this time, he will put an end to the
sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he
will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration until the fate
decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him."

Exodus 23:32-33 "Make no treaties with them or their gods. They must not live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me. If you serve their gods, you will be caught in the trap of idolatry." [see verses 20-33]
Exodus 34:12 "Be very careful never to make a treaty with the people who live in the land where you are going. If you do, you will follow their evil ways and be trapped." [see verses 12-16]
Deuteronomy 7:2 "When the LORD your God hands these nations over to you and you conquer them, you must completely destroy them. Make no treaties with them and show them no mercy." [see all chapter 7]
Isaiah 28:14-15 Therefore, listen to this message from the LORD, you scoffing rulers in Jerusalem. You boast, "We have struck a bargain to cheat death and have made a deal to dodge the grave. The coming destruction can never touch us, for we have built a strong refuge made of lies and deception." [see verses 1-22]
"but after half this time, he will put an end to the sacrifices and offerings. And as a climax to all his terrible deeds, he will set up a sacrilegious object that causes desecration"
Matthew 24:15-16 "The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about--the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place." (Reader pay attention!) "Then those in Judea must flee to the hills." [see verses 4-28, also Mark 13:1-25]
Daniel 11:31 "His army will take over the Temple fortress, pollute the sanctuary, put a stop to daily sacrifices, and set up the sacrilegious object that causes desecration." [see verses 28-39]
"until the fate decreed for this defiler is finally poured out on him."
Revelation 20:1-3 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. He seized the dragon--that old serpent, who is the devil, Satan--and bound him in chains for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years are finished. Afterward he must be released for a little while.
Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years come to an end, Satan will be let out of his prison. [see verses 8-9]
Revelation 20:10 Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. [see verses 11-15]
