Psalm 119:49-56 Part 2

                    ZAYIN
Remember your promise to me;
    it is my only hope.
Your promise revives me;
    it comforts me in all my troubles.
The proud hold me in utter contempt,
    but I do not turn away from your instructions.
I meditate on your age-old regulations;
    O LORD, they comfort me.
I become furious with the wicked,
    because they reject your instructions.
Your decrees have been the theme of my songs
    wherever I have lived.
I reflect at night on who you are, O LORD;
    therefore, I obey your instructions..
This is how I spend my life:
    obeying your commandments.

Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles.
Romans 15:4
Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled.  (see Romans 15:1-13)

I lie in the dust;
    revive me by your word.  (see Psalm 119:25-32)

You have done many good things for me, LORD,
    just as you promised.  (see Psalm 119:65-72)
Psalm 119:76
Now let your unfailing love comfort me,
    just as you promised me, your servant.  (See Psalm 119:73-80)
Psalm 119:140
Your promises have been thoroughly tested;
    that is why I love them so much.  (see Psalm 119:137-144)
Psalm 119:148
I stay awake through the night,
    thinking about your promise.  (see Psalm 119:145-152)
Psalm 12:6
The LORD's promises are pure,
    like silver refined in a furnace,
    purified seven times over.  (see all Psalm 12)
