Psalm 119:137-144 Part 2

                    TSADHE
O LORD, you are righteous,
    and your regulations are fair.
Your laws are perfect
    and completely trustworthy.
I am overwhelmed with indignation,
    for my enemies have disregarded your words.
Your promises have been thoroughly tested;
    that is why I love them so much.
I am insignificant and despised,
    but I don't forget your commandments.
Your justice is eternal,
    and your instructions are perfectly true.
As pressure and stress bear down on me,
    I find joy in your commands.
Your laws are always right;
    help me to understand them so I may live.

I am overwhelmed with indignation, for my enemies have disregarded your words.
2 Corinthians 1:8
We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the provinces of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it.  (see 2 Corinthians 1:1-11)
Psalm 69:9
Passion for your house has consumed me,
    and the insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.
    (see all Psalm 69)
Isaiah 40:21
Haven't you heard? Don't you understand?
    Are you deaf to the words of God--
the words he gave before the world began?
    Are you so ignorant?  (see all Isaiah 40)
John 2:17
    Then his disciples remembered this prophecy from the Scriptures: "Passion for God's house will consume me." (Psalm 69:9)  (see John 2:13-22)
Romans 15:3
For even Christ didn't live to please himself. As the Scriptures say, "The insults of those who insult you, O God, have fallen on me." (Psalm 59:9)  (see Romans 15:1-13)
1 Peter 2:8
And,
    "He is the stone that makes people stumble,
        and the rock that makes them fall."  (Isaiah 8:14)
They stumble because they do not obey God's word, and so they meet the fate that was planned for them.  (see 1 Peter 2:1-12)
