TSADHE
O LORD, you are righteous, and your regulations are fair.
Your laws are perfect
and completely trustworthy.
I am overwhelmed with indignation,
for my enemies have disregarded your words.
Your promises have been thoroughly tested;
that is why I love them so much.
I am insignificant and despised,
but I don't forget your commandments.
Your justice is eternal,
and your instructions are perfectly true.
As pressure and stress bear down on me,
I find joy in your commands.
Your laws are always right;
help me to understand them so I may live.
Your laws are always right; help me to understand them so I may live.
Psalm 19:9
Reverence for the LORD is pure,
lasting forever.
The laws of the LORD are true;
each one is fair. (see all Psalm 19)
Psalm 119:30
I have chosen to be faithful;
I have determined to live by your regulations. (see Psalm 119:25-32)
Psalm 119:34
Give me understanding and I will obey your instructions.
I will put them into practice with all my heart. (see Psalm 119:33-40)
Psalm 119:120
I tremble in fear of you;
I stand in awe of your regulations. (see Psalm 119:113-120)
Psalm 119:164
I will praise you seven times a day
because your regulations are just. (see Psalm 119:161-168)
Hebrews 8:10
"But this is the new covenant I will make
with the people of Israel on that day, says the LORD:
I will put my laws in their minds,
and I will write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people."
Hebrews 8:13
When God speaks of a "new" covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear. (see all Hebrews 8)
