Psalm 119:137-144 Part 3

                    TSADHE
O LORD, you are righteous,
    and your regulations are fair.
Your laws are perfect
    and completely trustworthy.
I am overwhelmed with indignation,
    for my enemies have disregarded your words.
Your promises have been thoroughly tested;
    that is why I love them so much.
I am insignificant and despised,
    but I don't forget your commandments.
Your justice is eternal,
    and your instructions are perfectly true.
As pressure and stress bear down on me,
    I find joy in your commands.
Your laws are always right;
    help me to understand them so I may live.

Your promises have been thoroughly tested; that is why I love them so much.
Joshua 23:14
    "Soon I will die, going the way of everything on earth. Deep in your hearts you know that every promise of the LORD your God has come true. Not a single one has failed!"  [see all Joshua 23]
Psalm 12:16
The LORD's promises are pure,
    like silver refined in a furnace,
    purified seven times over.  [see all Psalm 12]
Psalm 91:4
He will cover you with his feathers.
    He will shelter you with his wings.
    His faithful promises are your armor and protections.  [see all Psalm 91]
Psalm 146:6
He made heaven and earth,
    the sea and everything in them.
    He keeps every promise forever.  [see all Psalm 146]
2 Corinthians 1:20
For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding "Yes!" And through Christ, our "Amen" (which means "Yes") ascends to God for his glory.  [see 2 Corinthians 1:12-24]
2 Corinthians 7:1
    Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.  [see 2 Corinthians 6:1-7:4]
Hebrews 8:6
    But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.  [see all Hebrews 8]
