Luke 9:28-31 Part 1 of 2

About eight days later Jesus took Peter, John, and James up on a mountain to pray. And as he was praying, the appearance of his face was transformed, and his clothes became dazzling white. Suddenly two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared and began talking with Jesus. They were glorious to see. And they were speaking about his exodus from this world, which was about to be fulfilled in Jerusalem.

About eight days later Jesus took Peter, John, and James up on a mountain to pray.
Matthew 17:1  Six days later Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, James and John, and led them up a high mountain to be alone.
Mark 9:2a  After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone.
Mark 13:3-4  Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives across the valley from the Temple. Peter, James, John, and Andrew came to him privately and asked him, "Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will show us that these things are about to be fulfilled.?"
Matthew 26:36-38  Then Jesus went with them to the olive grove called Gethsemane, and he said, "Sit here while I go over there to pray." He took Peter and Zebedee's two sons, James and John, and he became anguished and distressed. He told them, "My soul is crushed with grief to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me." (see also Mark 14:33-34)
Luke 5:16  But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer.
Luke 6:12  One day soon afterward Jesus went up on a mountain to pray, and he prayed to God all night.
Luke 9:18  One day Jesus left the crowds to pray alone. Only his disciples were with him, and he asked them, "Who do people say I am?"   
Luke 11:1  Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
