Peter
and the others had fallen asleep. When they woke up, they saw Jesus'
glory and the two men standing with him. As Moses and Elijah were
starting to leave, Peter, not even knowing what he was saying, blurted
out, "Master, it's wonderful for us to be here! Let's make three
shelters as memorials--one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
But even as he was saying this, a cloud overshadowed them, and terror
gripped them as the cloud covered them. Then a voice from the cloud
said, "This is my Son, my Chosen One. Listen to him." When the voice
finished, Jesus was there alone. They didn't tell anyone at that time
what they had seen.
As Moses and Elijah were starting to leave, Peter, not even knowing what he was saying,
Mark 9:6 He said this because he didn't really know what else to say, for they were all terrified.
blurted out, "Master,"
Luke 5:5 "Master," Simon replied, "we worked hard all last night and didn't catch a thing. But if you say so, I'll let the nets down again."
Luke 8:24 The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, "Master, Master, we're going to drown!" When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and the raging waves. Suddenly the storm stopped and all was calm.
Luke 8:45 "Who touched me?" Jesus asked. Everyone denied it, and Peter said, "Master, this whole crowd is pressing up against you."
Luke 9:49-50 John said to Jesus, "Master, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he isn't in our group." But Jesus said, "Don't stop him! Anyone who is not against you is for you."

Nehemiah 8:15 He (the LORD) had said that a proclamation should be made throughout their towns and in Jerusalem, telling people to go to the hills to get branches from olive, wild olive, myrtle, palm, and other leafy trees. They were to use these branches to make shelters in which they would live during the festival, as prescribed in the Law.
Matthew 17:4 Peter exclaimed, "Lord, it's wonderful for us to be here! If you want, I'll make three shelters as memorials--one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
Mark 9:5 Peter exclaimed, "Rabbi, it's wonderful for us to be here! Let's make three shelters as memorials--one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah."
