Luke 12:45-48 Part 2 of 3

"But what if the servant thinks, 'My master won't be back for awhile,' and he begins beating the other servants, partying and getting drunk? The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant in pieces and banish him with the unfaithful. And a servant who knows what the master wants, but isn't prepared and doesn't carry out those instructions, will be severely punished. But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when some one has been entrusted with much, even more will be required."

"and he will cut the servant in pieces and banish him with the unfaithful."
Jeremiah 34:18-20  "Because you have broken the terms of our covenant, (see vs 8-11) I will cut you apart just as you cut apart the calf when you walked between its halves to solemnize your vows. Yes, I will cut you apart, whether you are officials of Judah or Jerusalem, court officials, priests, or common people--for you have broken your oath. I will give you to your enemies, and they will kill you. Your bodies will be food for the vultures and wild animals."
Matthew 24:50-51  "The master will return unannounced and unexpected, and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Matthew 15:29b-30  "But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away. Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Luke 13:27-28  "And he will reply, 'I tell you, I don't know you or where you come from. Get away from me, all you who do evil.' There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, for you will see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the Kingdom of God, but you will be thrown out." (see verses 22-30)
