Psalm 86:1-4 Part 1 of 2

Bend down, O LORD, and hear my prayer;

    answer me, for I need your help.

Protect me, for I am devoted to you.

    Save me, for I serve you and trust you.

    You are my God.

Be merciful to me, O LORD,

    for I am calling on you constantly.

Give me happiness, O LORD,

    for I give myself to you.

Bend down, O LORD, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need your help.

Psalm 4:3  You can be sure of this:

    The LORD set apart the godly for himself.

        The LORD will answer when I call to him.  (see all Psalm 4)

Psalm 17:6  

    I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God.

    O LORD, I give my life to you

        I trust in you, my God!

    Do not let me be disgraced,

        or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat.

    Protect me! Rescue my life from them!
