Psalm 88:15-16 Part 2 of 2

I have been sick and close to death from my youth.

    I stand helpless and desperate before your terrors.

Your fierce anger has overwhelmed me.

    Your terrors have paralyzed me.

Job 6:4 

"For the Almighty has struck me down with his arrows.

    Their poison infects my spirit.

Psalm 7:11  

God is an honest judge.

    He is angry with the wicked every day.  (see all Psalm 7)

Deuteronomy 9:19  "I feared that the furious anger of the LORD, which turned him against you, would drive him to destroy you. But again he listened to me."  (see all chapter 9)

Deuteronomy 29:28  " 'In great anger and fury the LORD uprooted his people from their land and banished them to another land, where they still live today!' "  (see all chapter 29)

2 Kings 22:13  "Go to the Temple and speak to the LORD for me and for the people and for all Judah. Inquire about the words written in this scroll that has been found. Psalm 78:38  

Yet he was merciful and forgave their sins

    and did not destroy them all.

Romans 1:18  But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.  (see verses 18-32)

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10  For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever.  (see all chapter 5)

Revelation 14:9-11  Then a third angel followed them, shouting, "Anyone who worships the beast and his statue or who accepts his mark on the forehead or on the hand must drink the wine of God's anger. It has been poured full strength into God's cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb.
