Psalm 94:12-13 Part 1 of 2

Joyful are those you discipline, LORD,
    those you teach with your instructions.
You give them relief from troubled times
    until a pit is dug to capture the wicked.

The LORD detests evil plans,

Psalm 94:7-9

"The LORD isn't looking," they say,
    "and besides, the God of Israel doesn't care."
Think again, you fools!
    When will you finally catch on?
Is he deaf--the one who made your ears?
    Is he blind--the one who formed your eyes?

"The LORD isn't looking," they say, "and besides, the God of Israel doesn't care."
Job 22:13-14  
"But you reply, 'That's why God can't see what I am doing!
    How can he judge through the thick darkness?
For thick clouds swirl about him, and he cannot see us.
    He is way up there, walking on the vault of heaven.' "  (see all chapter 22)

Psalm 94:5-6

    and murder orphans.

How long, O LORD! How long will the wicked be allowed to gloat?

How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul,
    with sorrow in my heart every day?

"O God my rock," I cry.
