Psalm 91:1-2 Part 2 of 2

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
    will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the LORD:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
    he is my God, and I trust him.

This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
2 Samuel 22:2-3  He (David) sang:
"The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
    my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
    and my place of safety.
He is my refuge, my savior,
    the one who saves me from violence."  (see all chapter 22)
Psalm 9:9
The LORD is a shelter for the oppressed,
    a refuge in times of trouble.  (see all Psalm 9)
Psalm 18:2
The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
    my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.  (see all Psalm 18)
Psalm 31:1-5
O LORD, I have come to you for protection;
    don't let me be disgraced.
    Save me, for you do what is right.
Turn your ear to listen to me;
    rescue me quickly.
Be my rock of protection,
    a fortress where I will be safe.
You are my rock and my fortress.
    For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.
Pull me from the trap my enemies have set for me,
    for I find protection in you alone.
I entrust my spirit into your hand.
    Rescue me, LORD, for you are a faithful God.  (see all Psalm 31)
Psalm 142:5
Then I pray to you, O LORD.
    I say, "You are my place of refuge.
    You are all I really want in life."  (see all Psalm 142)
Jeremiah 16:19-20
LORD, you are my strength and fortress,
     my refuge in the day of trouble!
Nations from around the world
    will come to you and say,
"Our ancestors left us a foolish heritage,
    for they worshiped worthless idols.
Can people make their own gods?
    These are not real gods at all!"  (see all chapter 16)
