Psalm 94:7-9

"The LORD isn't looking," they say,

    "and besides, the God of Israel doesn't care."

Think again, you fools!

    When will you finally catch on?

Is he deaf--the one who made your ears?

    Is he blind--the one who formed your eyes?

"The LORD isn't looking," they say, "and besides, the God of Israel doesn't care."

Job 22:13-14  

"But you reply, 'That's why God can't see what I am doing!

    How can he judge through the thick darkness?

For thick clouds swirl about him, and he cannot see us.

Isaiah 29:15  

What sorrow awaits those who try to hide their plans from the LORD,

    who do their evil deeds in the dark!

"The LORD can't see us," they say.

Ezekiel 8:12  Then the LORD said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what the leaders of Israel are doing with their idols in dark rooms? They are saying, 'The LORD doesn't see us; he has deserted our land!' "  (see all chapter 8)

 

Think again, you fools! When will you finally catch on? 

Deuteronomy 32:6  

"Is this the way you repay the LORD,

    you foolish and senseless people?

Isn't he your Father who created you?

Psalm 49:10  

Those who are wise must finally die,

    just like the foolish and senseless,

Psalm 92:6-7  

Only a simpleton would not know,

    and only a fool would not understand this:

    and evildoers flourish,

Listen to the filth that comes from their mouths;

Exodus 4:11  Then the LORD asked Moses, "Who makes a person's mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear or do not hear, see or do not see? Is it not I, the LORD?"  (see verses 1-17)

Proverbs 20:12  

Ears to hear and eyes to see--

    both are gifts from the LORD.
