Psalm 94:2-4 Part 2 of 2

Arise, O Judge of the earth.
    Give the proud what they deserve.
How long, O LORD?
    How long will the wicked be allowed to gloat?
How long will they speak with arrogance?
    How long will these evil people boast?

How long, O LORD! How long will the wicked be allowed to gloat?
Psalm 13:2
How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul,
    with sorrow in my heart every day?
    How long will my enemy have the upper hand?  (see all Psalm 13)
Psalm 42:9
"O God my rock," I cry.
    "Why have you forgotten me?
why must I wander around in grief,
    oppressed by my enemies?"  (see all Psalm 42)

How long will they speak with arrogance? How long will these evil people boast?
Psalm 10:2-3
The wicked arrogantly hunt down the poor.
    Let them be caught in the evil they plan for others.
For they brag about their evil desires;
    they praise the greedy and curse the LORD.  (see all Psalm 10)
Psalm 31:17-18
Don't let me be disgraced, O LORD,
    for I call out to you for help.
Let the wicked be disgraced;
    let them lie silent in the grave.
Silence their lying lips--
    those proud and arrogant lips that accuse the godly.  (see all Psalm 31)
Psalm 52:1
Why do you boast about your crimes, great warrior?
    Don't you realize God's justice continues forever?  (see all Psalm 52)
Jeremiah 43:1-3  When Jeremiah had finished giving this message (see chapter 42) from the LORD their God to all the people, Azariah son of Hashaiah and Johanan son of Kareah and all the other proud men said to Jeremiah, "You lie! The LORD our God hasn't forbidden us to go to Egypt! Baruch son of Neriah has convinced you to say this, because he wants us to stay here and be killed by the Babylonians or be carried off into exile."  (see all chapters 42 and 43)
Jude 14-15  Enoch, who lived in the seventh generation after Adam, prophesied about these people. He said,
    "Listen! The LORD is coming with countless thousands of his holy ones to execute judgment on the people of the world. He will convict every person of all the ungodly things they have done and for all the insults that ungodly sinners have spoken against him."  (from 1 Enoch 1:9)
    (see all Jude)
