Psalm 109:6-10 Part 1 of 2

They say, "Get an evil person to turn against him.
    Send an accuser to bring him to trial.
When his case comes up for judgment,
    let him be pronounced guilty.
    Count his prayers as sins.
Let his years be few;
    let someone else take his position.
May his children become fatherless,
    and his wife a widow.
May his children wander as beggars
    and be driven from their ruined homes."

1 Chronicles 21:1  Satan rose up against Israel and caused David to take a census of the people of Israel.  (see all chapter 21)
Job 1:6  One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the LORD, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them.

Proverbs 28:9  
God detests the prayers
    of a person who ignores the law.  (see all chapter 28) 
Psalm 1:4-6  
But not the wicked!
    They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
They will be condemned at the time of judgment.
    Sinners will have no place among the godly.
For the LORD watches over the path of the godly,
    but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.  (see all Psalm 1)
Isaiah 41:24  
"But no! You (idols) are less than nothing and can do nothing at all.
    Those who choose you pollute themselves."  (see verses 21-29)
