The Holy Spirit is teacher and revealer of God's thoughts and ways.
John 14:16-17 "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn't looking for him and doesn't recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you." (see John 14:1-21)
John 14:26 "But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative--that is, the Holy Spirit--he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you." (see John 14:22-31)
John 15:26 "But I will send you the Advocate--the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me." (see all John 15)
John 16:13-15 "When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me. All that belongs to the Father is mine; this is why I said, 'The Spirit will tell you whatever he receives from me.' " (see all John 16)
1 John 2:20 But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth. (see 1 John 2:1-23)
1 John 2:26-27 I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don't need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true--it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.
(see 1 John 2:24-29)
The Holy Spirit gives guidance and power for evangelism.
Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere--in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
(see Acts 1:1-8)
Acts 4:31 After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.
(see Acts 4:23-31)
Acts 8:29-31 The Holy Spirit said to Philip, "Go over and walk alongside the carriage."
Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, "Do you understand what you are reading?"
The man replied, "How can I, unless someone instructs me?" And he urged Philip to come up onto the carriage and sit with him. (see all Acts 8)
