Luke 1:8-10 Part 3 of 4

 One day Zechariah was serving God in the Temple, for his order was on duty that week. As was the custom of the priests, he was chosen by lot to enter the sanctuary of the LORD and burn incense. While the incense was being burned, a great crowd stood outside, praying.

Obadiah 10-11  "Because of the violence you (Edom) did to your close relatives in Israel, you will be filled with shame and destroyed forever. When they were invaded, you stood aloof, refusing to help them. Foreign invaders carried off their wealth and cast lots to divide up Jerusalem, but you acted like one of Israel's enemies." 

Jonah 1:7  Then the crew cast lots to see which of them had offended the gods and caused the terrible storm. When they did this, the lots identified Jonah as the culprit.

Matthew 27:35  After they had nailed him to the cross, the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. 

Acts 1:24-26  Then they all prayed, "O Lord, you know every heart. Show us which of these men you have chosen as an apostle to replace Judas in this ministry, for he has deserted us and gone where he belongs." Then they cast lots, and Matthias was selected to become an apostle with the other eleven.
