Luke 1:30-31 Part 2 of 2

"Don't be afraid, Mary," the angel told her, "for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus."

"for you have found favor with God"
Genesis 6:8  But Noah found favor with the LORD.
Exodus 33:12-14, 17  One day Moses said to the LORD, "You have been telling me, 'Take this people up to the Promised Land.' But you haven't told me whom you will send with me. You have told me, 'I know you by name, and I look favorably on you.' If it is true that you look favorably on me, let me know your ways so I may understand you more fully and continue to enjoy your favor. And remember that this nation is your very own people." The LORD replied, "I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest--everything will be fine for you." ..... The LORD replied to Moses, "I will indeed do what you have asked, for I look favorably on you, and I know you by name."    
Acts 7:46-47  "David found favor with God and asked for the privilege of building a permanent Temple for the God of Jacob. But it was Solomon who actually built it."
 
"You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus." 
Isaiah 7:14  "All right then, the LORD himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means 'God is with us'). 
Matthew 1:20-21  As he considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. "Joseph, son of David," the angel said, "do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife. For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name him Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." 
Matthew 1:25  But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus. 
Luke 2:21  Eight days later, when the baby was circumcised, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel even before he was conceived.
