Luke 1:46-48 Part 2 of 2

Mary responded, "Oh, how my soul praises the Lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! For he took notice of his lowly servant girl, and from now on all generations will call me blessed."

Luke 1:38  Mary responded, "I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true." And then the angel left her.

1 Samuel 1:10-11  Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the LORD. and she made this vow: "O LORD of Heaven's Armies, if you will look upon my sorrow and answer my prayer and give me a son, then I will give him back to you. He will be yours for his entire lifetime, and as a sign that he has been dedicated to the LORD, his hair will never be cut."  

Psalm 138:6  Though the LORD is great, he cares for the humble, but he keeps his distance from the proud.

 

"and from now on all generations will call me blessed." 

Luke 11:27-28  As he was speaking, a woman in the crowd called out, "God bless your mother--the womb from which you came and the breasts that nursed you!" Jesus replied, "But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice."

Psalm 72:17-19  May the king's name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun shines. May all nations be blessed through him and bring him praise. Praise the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does such wonderful things. Praise his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory.

Malachi 3:12  "Then all nations will call you blessed, and your land will be such a delight," says the LORD of Heaven's Armies.
