Luke 8:52-56 Part 1 of 2

The house was filled with people weeping and wailing, but he said, "Stop the weeping! She isn't dead; she's only asleep." But the crowd laughed at him because they knew she had died. Then Jesus took her by the hand and said in a loud voice, "My child, get up!" And at that moment her life returned, and she immediately stood up! Then Jesus told them to give her something to eat. Her parents were overwhelmed, but Jesus insisted that they not tell anyone what had happened.

Matthew 9:23  When Jesus arrived at the official's home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music.
Mark 5:38  When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing.

but he said, "Stop the weeping! She isn't dead, she's only asleep." 
Matthew 9:24a  "Get out!" he told them. "The girl isn't dead; she's only asleep."
Mark 5:39  He went inside and asked, "Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn't dead; she's only asleep."
John 11:4  But when Jesus heard about it he said, "Lazarus's sickness will not end in death. No, it happened for the glory of God so that the Son of God will receive glory from this."
John 11:14  So he told them plainly, "Lazarus is dead."

But the crowd laughed at him because they knew she had died. 
Matthew 9:24b  But the crowd laughed at him.
Mark 5:40  The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl's father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying.
