Luke 9:1-2 Part 2 of 3

One day Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them power and authority to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases. Then he sent them out to tell everyone about the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

Then he sent them out to tell everyone about the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
Matthew 4:17  From then on Jesus began to preach, "Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near."
Matthew 5:10  "God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs."
Matthew 5:19  "So if you ignore the least commandment and teach others to do the same, you will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But anyone who obeys God's laws and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven."
Matthew 7:21  "Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter."
Matthew 10:5-8  Jesus sent out the twelve apostles with these instructions: "Don't go to the Gentiles or the Samaritans, but only to the people of Israel--God's lost sheep. Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!"
Matthew 19:14  But Jesus said, "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children."
Matthew 25:34  "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world."
Luke 4:43  But he replied, "I must preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God in other towns, too, because that is why I was sent."
Luke 9:11  But the crowds found out where he was going, and they followed him. He welcomed them and taught them about the Kingdom of God, and he healed those who were sick.
