Daniel 3:9-10 Part 2 of 3

I watched as thrones were put in place

    and the Ancient One sat down to judge.

His clothing was as white as snow,

    his hair like purest wool.

He sat on a fiery throne

    with wheels of blazing fire,

and a river of fire was pouring out,

    flowing from his presence.

Millions of angels ministered to him;

    many millions stood to attend him.

Then the court began its session,

    and the books were opened. 

 

He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire.

Ezekiel 1:13-15  The living beings looked like bright coals of fire or brilliant torches, and lightning seemed to flash back and forth among them. And the living beings darted to and fro like flashes of lightning. As I looked at these beings, I saw four wheels touching the ground beside them, one wheel belonging to each.

Ezekiel 1:26-27  Above this surface (verse 22) was something that looked like a throne made of blue lapis lazuli. And on this throne high above was a figure whose appearance resembled a man. From what appeared to be his waist up, he looked like gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from his waist down, he looked like a burning flame, shining with splendor. (see all chapter 1)

Ezekiel 10:2  Then the LORD spoke to the man in linen clothing and said, "Go between the whirling wheels beneath the cherubim, and take a handful of burning coals and scatter them over the city." He did this as I watched. (see all chapters 8-11)

Psalm 50:3  Our God approaches, and he is not silent. Fire devours everything in his way, and a great storm rages around him. (see verses 1-6)

Psalm 97:3-4  Fire spreads ahead of him and burns up all his foes. His lightning flashes out across the world. The earth sees and trembles. (see all Psalm 97)

Isaiah 30:27  Look! The LORD is coming from far way, burning with anger, surrounded by thick, rising smoke. His lips are filled with fury; his words consume like fire. (see verses 27-33)

Deuteronomy 33:1-2  This is the blessing that Moses, the man of God, gave to the people of Israel before is death: "The LORD came down from Mount Sinai and dawned upon us from Mount Seir; he shown forth from Mount Paran and came from Meribah-kadesh with flaming fire at his right hand."
