"But
then the court will pass judgment, and all his power will be taken away
and completely destroyed. Then the sovereignty, power, and greatness of
all the kingdoms under heaven will be given to the holy people of the
Most High. His kingdom will last forever, and all rulers will serve and
obey him." That was the end of the vision. I, Daniel, was terrified by
my thoughts and my face was pale with fear, but I kept these things to
myself.
"His kingdom will last forever,"
Psalm 145:13 For your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. You rule throughout all generations. The LORD always keeps his promises; he is gracious in all he does. (see all Psalm 145)
Isaiah 9:7 His government and its peace will never end. He will rule with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the LORD of Heaven's Armies will make this happen! (see verses 1-7)
Daniel 2:44 "During the reigns of those kings, the God of Heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed or conquered. It will crush all these kingdoms into nothingness, and it will stand forever." (see verses 36-45)
Luke 1:32-33 "He will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his ancestor David. And he will reign over Israel forever; his Kingdom will never end!" (see verses 26-38)
Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: "The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever." (see verses 15-19)
"and all rulers will serve and obey him."
Psalm 86:9 All the nations you made will come and bow before you, Lord; they will praise your holy name. (see verses 8-10)
Psalm 102:21-22 And so the LORD's fame will be celebrated in Zion, his praises in Jerusalem, when multitudes gather together and kingdoms come to worship the LORD.
That was the end of the vision. I, Daniel, was terrified by my thoughts and my face was pale with fear, but I kept these things to myself.
Daniel 7:15 I, Daniel, was troubled by all I had seen, and my visions terrified me. (see vs 1-14)
Daniel 8:27 Then I, Daniel, was overcome and lay sick for several days. Afterward I got up and performed my duties for the king, but I was greatly troubled by the vision and could not understand it. (see all chapter 8)
Daniel 10:8 So I was left there all alone to see this amazing vision. My strength left me, my face grew deathly pale, and I felt very weak. (see all chapter 10)
