Psalm 105:7-8 Part 2 of 2

He is the LORD our God

    His justice is seen throughout the land.

He always stands by his covenant--

    the commitment he made to a thousand generations.

Genesis 9:14-15  "When I send clouds over the earth, the rainbow will appear in the clouds, and I will remember my covenant with you and with all living creatures. Never again will the floodwaters destroy all life."

Exodus 2:24  God heard their groaning, and he remembered his covenant promise to Abraham (Genesis 17:1-8, 22:16-18), Isaac (Genesis 26:1-6), and Jacob (Genesis 28:10-22).  (see all chapter 2)

Exodus 6:5  "You can be sure that I have heard the groans of the people of Israel, who are now slaves to the Egyptians. And I am well aware of my covenant with them."  (see verses 1-13)

Exodus 34:10  The LORD replied, "Listen, I am making a covenant with you in the presence of all your people. I will perform miracles that have never been performed anywhere in all the earth or in any nation. And all the people around you will see the power of the LORD--the awesome power I will display for you."  (see all chapter 34)

Leviticus 26:45  "For their sakes I will remember my ancient covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of all the nations, that I might be their God. I am the LORD."  (see verses 40-46)

Deuteronomy 7:9  "Understand, therefore, that the LORD your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who obey his commands."

Psalm 89:3-4  

The LORD said, "I have made a covenant with David, my chosen servant.

    I have sworn this oath to him:

'I will establish your descendants as kings forever;

    they will sit on your throne from now until eternity.' "  (see all Psalm 89)

Psalm 103:17-18  

But the love of the LORD remains forever

    with those who fear him.

His salvation extends to the children's children

    of those who are faithful to his covenant,

    of those who obey his commandments!  (see all Psalm 103)

Luke 1:72-73  

"He has been merciful to our ancestors

    by remembering his sacred covenant--

the covenant he swore with an oath

    to our ancestor Abraham (Genesis 22:16-18)."  (see all chapter 1)
