Psalm 104:5-9 Part 2 of 2

You placed the world on its foundation
so it would never be moved.
You clothed the earth with floods of water,
water that covered even the mountains.
At your command, the water fled;
at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away.
Mountains rose and valleys sank
    to the levels you decreed.
Then you set a firm boundary for the seas,
so they would never again cover the earth.

At your command, the water fled; at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away.
Psalm 18:15
Then at your command, O LORD,
at the blast of your breath,
the bottom of the sea could be seen,
and the foundations of the earth were laid bare.  (see all Psalm 18)
Psalm 29:3
The voice of the LORD echoes above the sea.
    The God of glory thunders.
The LORD thunders over the mighty sea.  (see all Psalm 29)

Mountains rose and valleys sank to the levels you decreed. Then you set a firm boundary for the seas, so they would never again cover the earth.
Job 38:10-11
"For I locked it (the sea) behind barred gates,
    limiting its shores.
I said, 'This far and no farther will you come.
Here your proud waves must stop!' "  (see all chapter 38)
Genesis 1:9  Then God said, "Let the waters beneath the sky flow together into one place, so dry ground may appear." And that is what happened.
(see all chapter 1)
Psalm 33:7
He assigned the sea its boundaries
and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs.  (see all Psalm 33)
Proverbs 8:29-30
"I (Wisdom) was there when he set the limits of the seas,
so they would not spread beyond their boundaries.
And when he marked off the earth's foundations,
I was the architect at his side.
I was his constant delight,
rejoicing always in his presence."  (see all chapter 8)
Jeremiah 5:22
"Have you no respect for me?
Why don't you tremble in my presence?
I, the LORD, define the ocean's sandy shoreline
as an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross.
The waves may toss and roar,
but they can never pass the boundaries I set."  (see all chapter 5)
