Psalm 105:9-11

This is the covenant he made with Abraham

    and the oath he swore to Isaac.

He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,

    and to the people of Israel as a never-ending covenant:

"I will give you the land of Canaan

    as your special possession."

 

Genesis 12:7  Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, "I will give this land to your descendants." And Abram built an altar there (at Shechem beside the oak of Moreh) and dedicated it to the LORD who had appeared to him.  (see verses 1-9)

Genesis 15:18  So the LORD made a covenant with Abram that day and said, "I have given this land to your descendants, all the way from the border of Egypt to the great Euphrates River--..."  (see all chapter 15)

Genesis 17:7-8  "I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you. And I will give the entire land of Canaan, where you now live as a foreigner, to you and your descendants. It will be their possession forever, and I will be their God."  (see all chapter 17)

Genesis 26:2-3  The LORD appeared to Isaac and said, "Do not go down to Egypt, but do as I tell you. Live here as a foreigner in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. I hereby confirm that I will give all these lands to you and your descendants, just as I solemnly promised Abraham, your father."  (see verses 1-6)

Genesis 28:13  At the top of the stairway stood the LORD, and he said, "I am the LORD, the God of your grandfather Abraham and the God of your father, Isaac. The ground you are lying on belongs to you. I am giving it to you and your descendants."  (see verses 10-22)

1 Chronicles 16:16-18

Exodus 31:18  When the LORD finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, written by the finger of God.  (see verses 12-18)

Exodus 32:13  "Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. You bound yourself with an oath to them, saying, 'I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars of heaven. And I will give them all of this land that I have promised to your descendants, and they will possess it forever.' "
