Habakkuk 3:10-11 Part 1 of 2

The mountains watched and trembled. Onward swept the raging waters. The mighty deep cried out, lifting its hands to the LORD. The sun and moon stood still in the sky as your brilliant arrows flew and your glittering spear flashed.

 

The mountains watched and trembled.

Psalm 114:4  The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs! (see all chapter 114)

Judges 5:4-5  "LORD, when you set out from Seir and marched across the fields of Edom, the earth trembled, and the cloudy skies poured down rain. The mountains quaked in the presence of the LORD, the God of Mount Sinai--in the presence of the LORD, the God of Israel." (see all chapter 5 - The Song of Deborah)

Psalm 18:7  Then the earth quaked and trembled. The foundations of the mountains shook; they quaked because of his anger. (see verses 4-16)

Psalm 77:18  Your thunder roared from the whirlwind; the lightning lit up the world! The earth trembled and shook.

 

The mighty deep cried out, lifting its hands. 

Psalm 18:15  Then at your command, O LORD, at the blast of your breath, the bottom of the sea could be seen, and the foundations of the earth were laid bare. (see verses 7-16)

Isaiah 51:15  "For I am the LORD your God, who stirs up the sea, causing its waves to roar. My name is the LORD of Heaven's Armies. (see verses 12-16)

Jeremiah 31:35-36  It is the LORD who provides the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night, and who stirs the sea into roaring waves. His name is the LORD of Heaven's Armies, and this is what he says: "I am as likely to reject my people Israel as I am to abolish the laws of nature!"
