James 1:12

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
 
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation.
James 1:2  Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. (see verses 2-4)
Genesis 22:1-2  Some time later, God tested Abraham's faith. "Abraham!" God called. "Yes," he replied. "Here I am."  "Take your son--Yes, Isaac, whom you love so much--and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you." (see verses 1-19)
James 5:11  We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.
1 Peter 3:14  And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen (see verses 8-13), make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.
 
Afterward they will receive the crown of life 
1 Corinthians 9:25  All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. (see verses 24-27)
2 Timothy 4:8  And now the prize awaits me--the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing. (see verses 1-8)
1 Peter 5:4  And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor. (see verses 1-11)
Revelation 2:10  "Don't be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life." (see verses 8-11)
Revelation 3:10-11  "Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the whole world to test those who belong to this world. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown." (see verses 7-13)

Exodus 20:6  "But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands." (see verses 1-21)
1 Corinthians 2:9  That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." (Isaiah 64:4) (see all chapter 2)
1 Corinthians 8:3  But the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes. (see verses 1-3)
