Habakkuk 3:8-9 Part 2 of 2

Was it in anger, LORD, that you struck the rivers and parted the sea? Were you displeased with them? No, you were sending your chariots of salvation! You brandished your bow and your quiver of arrows. You split open the earth with flowing rivers.

2 Kings 2:1  When the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elishah were traveling from Gilgal.
2 Kings 2:11  As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a chariot of fire appeared, drawn by horses of fire. It drove between the two men, separating them, and Elijah was carried by a whirlwind into heaven. (see verses 1-18)
Psalm 68:17  Surrounded by unnumbered thousands of chariots, the Lord came from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary.
Psalm 104:3b-4  You make the clouds your chariot; you ride on the wings of the wind. The winds are your messengers; flames of fire are your servants.
Isaiah 66:15  See, the LORD is coming with fire, and his swift chariots roar like a whirlwind. He will bring punishment with the fury of his anger and the flaming fire of his hot rebuke.
Jeremiah 4:13  Our enemy rushes down on us like storm clouds! His chariots are like whirlwinds. His horses swifter than eagles. How terrible it will be, for we are doomed!

2 Samuel 22:15  He shot arrows and scattered his enemies; his lightning flashed and they were confused. (see all chapter 22, also Psalm 18)
Psalm 144:6  Hurl your lightning bolts and scatter your enemies! Shoot your arrows and confuse them! (see verses 5-8)
Psalm 77:17  The clouds poured down rain; the thunder rumbled in the sky. Your arrows of lightning flashed. (see verses 16-20)
Isaiah 49:2  He made my words of judgment as sharp as a sword. He has hidden me in the shadow of his hand. I am like a sharp arrow in his quiver. (see verses 1-7)
