James 3:1-2

Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly. Indeed, we all make mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.

Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.
Romans 12:6-8  In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. (see all chapter 12)
Ephesians 4:11-12  Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. (see verses 11-16)
1 Corinthians 12:29-30  Are we all apostles? Are we all prophets? Are we all teachers? Do we all have the power to do miracles? Do we all have the gift of healing? Do we all have the ability to speak in unknown languages? Do we all have the ability to interpret unknown languages? Of course not! (see verses 12-31)
2 Timothy 3:16-17  All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to  make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. (see all chapter 3)

Indeed, we all make mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.
Psalm 14:2-3  The LORD looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God. But no, all have turned away; all have become corrupt. No one does good, not a single one! (see all chapter 14)
James 1:26  If you claim to be religious but don't control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless. (see verses 19-27)
1 John 1:8  If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. (see all chapter 1)
