Psalm 103:11-12 Part 2 of 2

For his unfailing love toward those who fear him

    is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.

He has removed our sins as far from us

    as the east is from the west.

2 Samuel 12:13  Then David confessed to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD"

    Nathan replied, "Yes, but the LORD has forgiven you and you won't die for this sin."  [see chapters 11-12]

Psalm 32:1-5  

Oh, what joy for those

    whose disobedience is forgiven,

    whose sin is put out of sight!

Yes, what joy for those

    whose record the LORD has cleared of guilt,

    whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

When I refused to confess my sin,

    my body wasted away, 

    and I groaned all day long.

Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me.

    My strength evaporated like water in summer heat.

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you

    and stopped trying to hide my guilt.

I said to myself, "I will confess my rebellion to the LORD."

Psalm 51:1  

Have mercy on me, O God,

    because of your unfailing love.

Because of your great compassion,

Isaiah 43:25  

"I [the LORD]--yes, I alone--will blot out your sins for my own sake

Isaiah 44:22  

"I [the LORD] have swept away your sins like a cloud.

    I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist.

Oh, return to me,

Zechariah 3:4  So the angel said to the others standing there, "Take off his filthy clothes." And turning to Jeshua he said, "See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes."

Zechariah 3:8  "Listen to me, O Jeshua the high priest, and all you other priests. You are symbols of things to come. Soon I am going to bring my servant, the Branch."  [see all chapter 3]

Ephesians 2:4-5  But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God's grace that you have been saved!)  [see all chapter 2]
