Psalm 106:24-27 Part 3 of 3

The people refused to enter the pleasant land,

    for they wouldn't believe his promise to care for them.

Instead, they grumbled in their tents

    and refused to obey the LORD.

Therefore, he solemnly swore

    that he would kill them in the wilderness,

that he would scatter their descendants among the nations,

    exiling them to distant lands.

Leviticus 26:33  "I will scatter you among the nations and bring out my sword against you. Your land will become desolate, and your cities will be in ruins."  (see all chapter 26)

Nehemiah 1:8-9  "Please remember what you told your servant Moses: 'If you are unfaithful to me, I will scatter you among the nations. But if you return to me and obey my commands and live by them, then even if you are exiled to the ends of the earth, I will bring you back to the place I have chosen for my name to be honored.' Zechariah 7:13-14  "Since they refused to listen when I called to them, I would not listen when they called to me, says the LORD of Heaven's Armies. As with a whirlwind, I scattered them among distant nations, where they lived as strangers. Their land became so desolate that no one even traveled through it.
