Luke 8:4-8 Part 3 of 3

One day Jesus told a story in the form of a parable to a large crowd that had gathered from many towns to hear him: "A farmer went out to plant his seed. As he scattered it across his field, some fell on a footpath, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it. Other seed fell among rocks. It began to grow, but the plant soon wilted and died for lack of moisture. Other seed fell among thorns that grew up with it and choked out the tender plants. Still other seed fell on fertile soil. This seed grew and produced a crop that was a hundred times as much as had been planted!" When he had said this, he called out, "Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand."

Genesis 26:12  When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him.

Matthew 13:8  "Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!"

Mark 4:8  "Still other seeds fell on fertile soil, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!"

When he had said this, he called out, "Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand." 

Matthew 13:9  "Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand." (see also Matthew 11:15; 13:43; Mark 4:9, 23; Luke 14:35)

Revelation 2:7  "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit from the tree of life in the paradise of God." (see verses 1-6)

Revelation 2:11  "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. Whoever is victorious will not be harmed by the second death." (see verses 8-10)

Revelation 2:17  "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it." (see verses 12-16)

Revelation 2:29  "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches." (see verses 18-28; 3:1-22)
