As
he rode along, the crowds spread out their garments on the road ahead
of him. When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount
of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked
along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen.
"Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the LORD! Peace in
heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!" But some of the Pharisees
among the crowd said, "Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things
like that!" He replied, "If they kept quiet, the stones along the road
would burst into cheers!"
"Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the LORD! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!" (continued from yesterday)
Mark 11:9-10 Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, "Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Blessings on the coming Kingdom of our ancestor David! Praise God in highest heaven!"

John 14:27 "I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid."
Philippians 4:6-7 Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, "Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!"
Matthew 21:15-16 The leading priests and teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children in the Temple shouting, "Praise God for the Son of David." But the leaders were indignant. They asked Jesus, "Do you hear what these children are saying?" "Yes," Jesus replied. "Haven't you ever read the Scriptures? For they say, 'You have taught children and infants to give you praise.' (Psalm 8:2)."
He replied, "If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!"
Habakkuk 2:11 "The very stones in the walls cry out against you, and the beams in the ceilings echo the complaint." (see all of Habakkuk)
Joshua 24:27 Joshua said to all the people, "This stone has heard everything the LORD said to us. It will be a witness to testify against you if you go back on your word to God." (see chapters 23-24)
